Cool Water Sea Rose Davidoff Perfume for women Review (2013):
Cool Water Sea Rose Perfume for women was launched by Davidoff in year 2013 as second flanker to the original Cool Water for women perfume (1996). The first flanker came out in year 2012 which was Cool Water Sensual Essence Edition.
The nose behind Cool Water Sea Rose is of Aurelien Guichard, who created complex, refreshing and clean notes in this composition. The fragrance starts with gentle and juicy notes of Japanese Nashi pear, which blends into the heart notes of pink peony, followed by the sensuous and warm base of musk. It comes in EDT formula, body lotion as well as shower gel.
Cool Water Sea Rose Perfume Scent Descriptions and Notes:
Top Notes: Japanese Nashi Pear
Heart Notes: Pink Peony
Base Notes: Earthy Musk
My experience with this Sea Rose Davidoff Cool Water for Women Fragrance:
Davidoff Cool Water Woman Sea Rose is a fragrance that unites femininity and water. It is a jewel of freshness, spontaneity, and purity. The composition opens with fresh notes of violets and pear. The middle notes are formed by delicate aromas of freesia and pink peony. The background of cedarwood and noble accents of soft musk creates an intoxicating appeal. This combination of purity and youthful dynamism make this fragrance different. It can be described as a harmonious symbiosis between the woman and the sea.
I used it around 2 years ago and I liked it very much for its freshness but over the time, I stopped liking it and now, I find it kind of ok fragrance. I agree that it is too fresh and it kinda reminds me a bit too much of those refreshing men’s aftershave lotions.
I like its water and fresh scent (though it does not make me stand out for its originality) but unfortunately, while waiting to see its evolution on my skin, its traces vanished within half an hour of wearing it.
It is a delicious perfume for a day at the pool or the beach. It is essentially a perfume for the day. A bit too cool for my taste, too much fruity and at times, I feel like a minty candy all over. It is definitely a perfume for very hot days and only for those who like fresh and strong fragrances. This is definitely a gym perfume.
This particular Cool Water cologne for women has an aqueous essence and smells of a citrus peel … I’m sorry but if you want something with more dimension, I’d recommend Dolce & Gabbana Light Blue. It is light, fruity, young … ideal for use in summer, with jeans and a camisole. The colors of the liquid always give an indication and this, in blue, it “speaks” of sea, beach or after a shower.
I used it as a young girl. I fell in love with it and now, it reminds me of the summer of that time. But what it can certainly never be popular for is its durability. It has average staying power and it goes away quickly.
All in all, I would term this a summer perfume and best for the adolescent girls. I myself have some pretty fond memories of this perfume and my liking and attachment to this perfume is more related to nostalgia than its actual worth. But it’s not too bad. Definitely the thing for women who like the sea!
