Moschino Fresh Couture Perfume For Women (2015) Review:
Inspired by the 2016 Spring fashion collection, Moschino Fresh Couture is the second fragrance under the guidance of Jeremy Scott which came out in October 2015 in the line of Moschino Perfumes. The product is loaded with surprise as well as irony, because it uses the most mundane thing around the house, that is, a house cleaner, to become the icon of the concept of an ultimate dichotomy of high low. The main accords of the fragrance are citrus, floral and sweet.
Moschino Fresh Couture Notes and Perfume Scent Descriptions:
Top notes include Bergamot, ylang-ylang and mandarin orange. Middle notes consist of peony, posmanthus and raspberry. In the base, one will find patchouli, ambroxan and woodsy notes.
My experience with this Moschino Fresh Eau De Toilette:
I found this scent to be very fresh and chirpy. It’s joyful, sparkly, and luxurious. The silage was good and did create a clear aura around me. Exotic ingredients build up the most luxurious of notes and make one feel as if they’re enjoying spring season in some beautiful garden. The fragrance is quite similar to the other floral Moschino releases such as I love love and Funny, where all are inoffensive, casual summertime crowd pleasers. The fragrance is slightly-sweet citrus, energizing and traditional powdery in the base. Bottle is not something that I can boast on my shelf.
Packaging: Packaging of Fresh by Moschino fragrance grabs all the attention here since this was a risk that the brand took for portraying that it is bold enough to come out with such drastic packaging design. The ironic bottle looks like a cleaning product. It is housed in an elegant coffer made of fine materials, including a touch of golden detailing. The liquid is aqua colored. It is not at all handy or purse friendly. A big no! This is like a unanimous thing amidst the ladies, that they simply don’t admire the bold trick played by couture for the packaging. I mean I will never buy a perfume bottle which looks like a house cleaner no matter how amazing the fragrance is. So, full marks for taking the risk, but zero for not adopting a classy approach.
Experience with notes: Beginning of the fragrance is sparkling and citrusy with bergamot and orange. Exotic ylang-ylang adds value. In the floral and velvety heart created by peony and osmanthus is contrasted by the juicy raspberry. The base has accords of woods, patchouli ambroxan makes the fragrance refined and modern.
Potency: The scent doesn’t last for more than 3-4 hours. Atleast, it did not last more than that on my skin. Staying power is average, though the sillage is strong.
Applicability: It’s a day perfume which works best in summers and spring because of the freshness in notes.
Below is a quick summary of likes and dislikes that I’ve felt about this perfume:
– Glamorous ingredients give out a fresh whiff
– Sillage is enormous
– Packaging: even if I like the fragrance, I will not but because the bottle is funny
– Average staying power
Conclusion: Moschino Fresh Couture Perfume for women is a gorgeous fragrance that comes in a fun, unique and one-of-a kind bottle. If you are intrigued enough, you can definitely give it a try!
