Versace Bright Crystal Perfume For Women (2006) Review:
Bright Crystal perfume for women was launched by Versace in year 2006 as a milder version of Versace Crystal Noir perfume. The perfume was designed by Alberto Morillas. Bright Crystal Versace fragrance is a refreshing, sensuous mix of gorgeous chilled yuzu and pomegranate diffused with the delicate blossoms of Magnolia, Lotus and Peony, getting the warmth from the notes of Vegetal Amber and Musk in the base.
My Experience with this fragrance:
The first thing that made my try this fragrance was its gorgeous packaging, though I am reviewing it from a few samples that I got of this, in order to test it. The pink bottle looks so lovely with its crystal like designed cap and aptly defines the name “Bright Crystal”.
The fragrance with its fruity opening accords is quite yummilicious and has aquatic touch to it. It makes me think of of sipping delicious pomegranate juice while watching the rain. The fragrance quickly dries down to the floral notes of Lotus and Magnolia. I love the transition and the fruity-floral mix is quite heady and addicting. Within half an hour of wearing it, the musk takes over and all that lingers on the skin is a gorgeous blend of floral-fruity-musk notes. The smell is absolutely divine, very feminine, sensuous and lovely.
I love to wear this fragrance for both day and night time in all the seasons. I have always received many compliments after wearing this fragrance, however I can’t say the same amazing things about its staying power. The fragrance has decent sillage, however it doesn’t last longer than 4-5 hours on my skin.
Though the opening can be a bit strong, the fragrance is more on a sheer side. I love the way it emerges as a cleaner and lighter fragrance as it works on my skin in the dry down. The EDP of Bright Crystal is a bit stronger than the EDT reviewed here, so if you want your fragrance to be stronger, get the EDP version of this fragrance.
Below is a quick summary of likes and dislikes that I’ve felt about this Perfume
1) Absolutely love the packaging. It is exquisite, luxurious, feminine and beautiful. Also it is purse friendly.
2) Refreshing fruity opening notes blending seamlessly into the floral heart, can make you think of walking around a lovely pond having lotus flowers, surrounded by luscious pomegranate trees. The musk in the base gives slight warmth to the whole composition, making it a captivating fragrance overall.
3) Good sillage
4) Perfect for day and night wear for all seasons.
1) The opening notes might be too overpowering for sensitive noses, so be careful with amount you spritz. Less is always better.
2) Average staying power.
I love its packaging, and I love the fragrance. It is a fragrance that definitely lifts my mood and makes me cheerful every time I put it on. With the refreshing opening fruity notes, floral heart and musky base, this is one scent worth having in your collection!
