Narciso Poudree Narciso Rodriguez Perfume for women Review (2016):
Narciso Rodriguez Poudrée is really one of my beloved colognes that have ever released. I am obsessed with it, in fact. It’s chock-full of opulent notes of Bulgarian roses like velvet and beautiful jasmine. The base is gorgeous and woody. Considering, the fragrance there is a texture of powdered, light pinks which adds a dash of vintage to them.
Narciso Poudree Perfume Scent Descriptions and Notes:
• Top Notes: Orange Blossom, Bulgarian Rose, Jasmine,
• Heart Notes: Musk
• Base Notes: Vetiver, Coumarin, Patchouli, Cedar
My experience with the perfume:
Poudree is a seamless blend. Musky rose with a tip of powder, finished by an intimation of vetiver and cedar. Boosted by a velvety florescent amalgam of white jasmine petals and Bulgarian rose, it owns signature woody notes of vetiver and cedars. The fragrance provides warmth and power. It is the scent of boudoir! Narceso Poudree is a delightful powdery fragrant perfume. Overall, it is more typical of musk and iris further grounded by the vetiver and cedar.
It begins with a noticeably powdery note that looks like a rose powder. This creamy smooth flowery powder dawdles close to my skin. It would definitely intensify your appeal to another sex. This makes itself to be perfect for autumn or rainy weather in spring. A sensible number of sprays are just perfectly suitable for evenings, and also nice for workplace.
While packing isn’t everything, it is certainly essential for me, as if I outlay a decent amount of money on it, I want it to look fantastic too. The packaging of Narciso Poudrée is undeniably fabulous with its creamy nude bottle. I feel honored to parade it on my dressing table. It is obtainable in three different bottle sizes; 30ml, 50ml and 100ml. The perfume arrives in a pink fawn flacon. Its contemporary and minimalistic bottle makes me love it. I like how the bottle already specifies a powdery feeling before I hold it to spray. It’s creamy powdery, smooth and pervasive.
Sillage and Longevity:
Sniffing good is truly significant to me so longevity is certainly something that I look for in a perfume. Sillage is reasonable, and lasting power is fairly decent, around 8 hours. The fragrance is long lasting on the skin. Just sprig it over yourself in the morning and you can still smell it when you return back home.
Let us have a quick look at the likes and dislikes that I’ve felt about this perfume:
• I love the dreamy blend of fruit and floras that feels like nude-colored silk.
• It offers me the appearance of a lady of a higher standing, decorous, composed and valued. It’s musky, flowery, smart, ladylike, stylish, sexy, fragrant, easy-going and full of character.
• Narciso Poudree Narciso Rodriguez is soft, sexy and womanly. However, if these things are theoretically not your style, then don’t go for it. Otherwise, it’s all-in-all a perfect fragrance for me.
There’s an air of mystery adjacent to this scent and that is what draws me in. It is sensual yet mild and womanly in equal extents which make it the flawless fragrance for wearing on evenings out, maybe for that perfect date night. Having said that, it is light to wear, so you can wear it during the daytime either; I certainly do. Perchance it’s the vintage feel it has which makes me love it so much, it has a trace of desirability to it. I have fallen head-over-heels for this perfume! I just can’t get enough of it!
